He is not only a great singer, but also a fantastic entertainer and a charming man. Canadian singer Michael Bublé releases his next album “Crazy Love” mid October 2009. It is his fourth studio album with 11 standard cover songs and 2 songs he wrote himself.

He recorded the songs in several studios in LA, Brooklyn and in Vancouver. The album contains songs like the title track “Crazy Love” (Van Morrison), songs from “Cry Me A River”, “Georgia On My Mind” to “You`re Nobody Till Somebody Loves You” and “Baby (You`ve Got What It Takes)” with Sharon Jones and The Dap Kings. The last song on the album “Stardust”, was recorded together with vocal band Naturally 7, who did support Michael on his last tour.

Here is the nice video for his new single “Haven`t Met You Yet”:

What a great band. Danish band Turboweekend are a three piece band from Copenhagen and consists of Martin Petersen (Drums), Silas Bjerregaard (Vocals) and Morten Køie (Bass). They play dark synth pop, electro-rock with a soulful twist. “Ghost Of A Chance” is their second album and is a wonderful collection of addictive pop songs. From the beginning, the catchy single “Trouble Is” over the dark “Sweet Jezebel”, the optimistic “Holiday”, the phenomenal single “After Hours” to “Almost There”, there is not a weak song on the whole album.

The band is currently on the road and touring Europe. The album will be out next week in Europe and the US. Don`t miss it, one of the best albums of this year!

2 years ago they came out of nowhere. The american pop-rock band One Republic got a feature on Timbaland`s album and out of a sudden they stormed the charts worldwide with their single “Apologise”, which became one of the biggest hits in 2007. Their album “Dreaming Out Loud” was a huge success as well with further hit singles and Ryan Tedder became the most requested songwriter of our time. He wrote “Bleeding Love” for Leona Lewis, “Halo” for Beyonce, “Already Gone” for Kelly Clarkson and “Battlefield” for Jordin Sparks, just to name a few of his recent hits. He is a genius songwriter who writes excellent pop tunes.

Now he is back with his band and they release their new album “Waking Up” in mid November. There are 2 new singles before the album release, “All The Right Moves” in the US and Europe and in Germany the song “Secrets” will be released as first single, cos it`s the title track for the movie “Zweiohrküken” with Til Schweiger.

Here you can listen to the new song “All The Right Moves”:

Don`t tell me when you think of Switzerland only cheese, chocolate and mountains come to your mind. There are also great musicians coming from this country. One example is the band Yello alias Dieter Meier (lyrics, vocals) and Boris Blank (composer). For 30 years they release great electronic music and so is the new album “Touch Yello”, which comes out on October, 2nd.

On the new album you`ll find 14 great tracks, still Yello like but also very relaxing stuff.  Swiss singer Heidi Happy did some great vocals and trumpet player Till Brönner also did a great job on the album.  Yello and their guest stars will be in Berlin on October 1st for a special visual presentation of the new album at the Electronic Beats Classics. Check the great trailer for it here:

Erik Hassle made a new video for his single “Hurtful”. The song will be his second single release in the UK and to push his career over in the UK he filmed a new video for the song. They have been 2 videos for “Hurtful” already.

My favourite swedish singer at the moment, Erik Hassle released his fantastic debut album “Hassle” a couple of weeks ago in Sweden, the album went straight to number 2 in the swedish album charts, a phenomenal piece of work and at my list for “album of the year”! “Hurtful” will be released in the UK on November, 1st and the album, which is called “Pieces” in the UK, will follow one week later.  Erik will be supporting Little Boots on her UK tour in October!

Here is the new video for “Hurtful”:

This weeks album of the week comes from one of the most promising and interesting new female voices this year: Paloma Faith from London. In every song on her debut album you can realise that she has been working as an actress. Big emotions, lots of strings and fantastic melodies that will melt down every pop music lovers heart.

The miscellaneous artist is not only a good actor, she has a unique voice and a fantastic style. Her music is compared to Amy Winehouse and Duffy, but she has her own style and looks. If you see her videos it is no wonder, that she loves David Lynch and Tim Burton.

Her debut album “Do You Want The Truth Or Something Beautiful” contains 10 wonderful songs, besides the already released singles “Stone Cold Sober” and “New York”, you should listen to “Smoke & Mirrors”, “Romance Is Dead”, “Stargazer”, “Play On” and the great title track. The only thing is, the album is too short with 37 minutes. But Paloma did also a song on the new Basement Jaxx album for people who want to hear more from her.

I saw Paloma at a showcase in Berlin a few weeks ago and was fascinated by her stage presence, she is a real star! She will be on tour in Europe soon, in Germany she plays in November, Berlin on the 28th, Hamburg 29th and Cologne, December 1st. Don`t miss her!

From her fantastic debut album “The Bridge”, Melanie Fiona releases the great number “It Kills Me” as her next single. The 27 year old singer from Canada has a smash hit with her current single “Give It To Me Right”. As mentioned in our “album of the week”, the next single “It Kills Me” is one of the best songs from the album, a wonderful ballad.

Melanie got support on the album from producers and songwriters Andrea Martin (En Vogue, Angie Stone Leona Lewis) and Vada Nobles (Lauryn Hill), Peter Wade (Natasha Bedingfield) and Salaam Remi (Amy Winehouse).

“The Bridge” has been released in Melanie`s home country in May and has just been released in Europe. In the US the album will be released in October and be promoted with “It Kills Me” with this new video:

After his first single with Kanye West, the great “Supernova”, Mr Hudson releases his second single “White Lies” in October.

Mr Hudson was formerly in the band Mr Hudson & The Library from the UK.  Their first album was released in 2007 but didn`t sell that good. Now Mr Hudson is concentrating on his solo career. He is signed on Kanye West´s label G.O.O.D music and Kanye is helping him wherever he can.

The blond singer releases his new album “Straight No Chaser” on October, 19 in the UK, the single “White Lies” will be out October, 12.

Here is the new video from Mr Hudson, where you can see him dressed in white and in black (even with black hair!):

What a band name. “White Belt Yellow Tag” is an alternative rock band from the UK. Their song “You`re not invincible” was “track of the day” at Q Magazine earlier this year. Justin Lockey and Craig Pilbin formed the group around a year ago in Newcastle and write great guitar driven rock tunes. Justin has been working as a producer for bands like White Lies and Late Of The Pier .

The second single from the band was the nice track “Tell Your Friends (it all worked out)” and currently they are finishing their debut album “Methods”. Before that will be released in early 2010, there is an EP coming out, titled “Remains”, which will be released October, 19 in the UK.

Here is the video for “Tell Your Friends”:

The great band Miike Snow release a new video for their next single “Black And Blue”, which will be their new single in the UK, out on October, 26. The album will be released the same date in the UK.

The band consists of singer and songwriter Andrew Wyatt (ok he is American) and the swedish producer team Bloodshy & Avant, who have worked with Madonna, Kylie Minogue, Britney Spears and many more. Miike Snow make excellent electronic pop songs, the production is first class and the british Guardian said their music is “coolly emotional pop suggests A-ha meets Animal Collective”. The self-titled album has already been released in Sweden and the US and will hit the rest of Europe this fall. The band will be on tour in Europe in October and November 2009.

Have a look at the great new video :
