Album of the week: Oh Land “Oh Land”

Danish singer Oh Land just released her great album “Oh Land” in the US, Canada and Denmark. Her real name is Nanna Oland Fabricius and she is writing fresh and brave pop songs.

Oh Land moved from Denmark to Brooklyn, NY, from where she started to conquer the music world. Her mother is an opera singer, her father a theater organist, good requirements. You hear influences from people like Bjork, but Oh Land found her own style and is releasing dreamily sweet pop music. The pretty singer wrote all 11 songs by herself, she has a great voice and convinces with electro pop songs like the single “Sun Of A Gun”, “Voodoo”, the excellent “Human” and the charismatic “Wolf & I”. There is not a single filler on the album, all songs are awesome! You`ll get some nice live videos on top if you buy the album on iTunes US and her official videos as well. Beautful album by a beautiful artist!

The album will be released in the rest of the world within the next weeks. Nanna played 10 gigs last week at the South by Southwest music festival, where she got great reactions from the crowd. This week she is playing 3 more gigs in the US. Check out the dates on her site.
