Kasper Bjørke is Young Again

Danish musician Kasper Bjørke comes from the heart of the thriving Copenhagen electronic scene.  Kasper (33) has been busy working the last years as producer and DJ and received a Danish Music Award as Best Producer, for the well known project Filur, which he still runs with his old friend, Tomas Barfod.

Kaspers solo productions are now taking two directions. The analogue slow mutant disco angle is covered by Kasper Bjørke, while his techno and minimal/house releases are being unleashed as “Kasper Bjørke & His Friendly Ghost”, serving him the opportunity to appear in two different contexts – as diversity has always been the main focus, which also shines through in his approach both as a DJ, his productions – and his remixes. This summer Kasper released his first 12” EP in the Friendly Ghost outfit, on the brand new We Love This label imprint.

Kasper has just finished working on his second album, and it is set for an early 2010 release. Before the album will be out, the first single “Young Again” featuring the Danish indie singer Jacob Bellens, has been releasd in October 2009.
